Meagan joins Nurture Women’s Health in the Irving and Frisco locations with 10+ years experience providing education and respectful care to women and their growing families. Meagan was born in Arkansas and grew up in East Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas-Arlington and began her career in Women’s Services, gaining experience in Lactation, Newborn Nursery, Labor & Delivery, and Postpartum care. Meagan was drawn to the Midwifery Model of Care during the birth of her son and her work in Labor and Delivery. She gained experience working with midwives on the “Big Island,” as it’s known in Hawaii, and returned to Texas where she earned her Master’s degree of Science in Nursing-Midwifery from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Meagan enjoys working with women to provide education from preconception through childbirth and postpartum as well as gynecology care including well-women visits, birth control consults, sexual health, and other gynecologic concerns.

Her goal is to provide safe, supportive care to ensure her patients have options and feel respected in their healthcare choices.
